Art of the Cover - The Libertines' "Gunga Din" (2015)

the mirror is fucking ugly and I'm sick and tired of looking at him ...

Ahhhhh, Grasshoppa!!!

A nice piece of artwork adorns the spanking new single from The Libertines.

Yap, I did say The Libertines! ... Definitely one from the 'thought they were dead' category!

Yap, cuddly Carl and prickly Pete have apparently put aside a few truckloads of animosity and the mighty Libertines have reformed.

And they've come up with the optimistically titled album "Anthems for Doomed Youth" - from which "Gunga Din" is the lead single.

With the title and key lines of the chorus are derived from Rudyard Kipling’s 1892 poem of the same name,  "Gunga Din" is a vibrant ode to a couple of fucked-up 'party animals'.

Anthems for Doomed Youth is available now.

The new album comes in an array of formats inclusing Digital, CD, and Vinyl.

There is also a Deluxe Edition, released on CD, and Digitally, which includes extra tracks and contains artwork.

There's also a wonderful Box Set, including a Deluxe CD, a Vinyl copy, exclusive film, and signed art prints, is also available.
