Art of the Cover - Yo la Tengo's "Fakebook" (1990)

Gorgeous art adorns this mighty LP from YLT.

A wonderful collection comprising eleven eclectic cover songs as well as five originals.

They also reinterpret two of their own songs here .... "Barnaby, Hardly Working" is a new version of the song featured in the previous album President Yo La Tengo, while "Did I Tell You" is a new version of the song featured in the 1987 album New Wave Hot Dogs.

Fresh off celebrating their 30th anniversary as one of the most beloved and adventurous bands in rock history, Yo La Tengojust released the fine LP Stuff Like That There - a sequel of sorts to this 1990 album.

Again, Stuff Like That There features an eclectic mix of covers as well as re-workings of older songs.
