The Video - Paolo Nutini's "Scream (Funk My Life Up)"

She's the bass; she's the beat; she's the rhythm; she's the band.

For some reason, I liked the vid for Nutini's infectious Stax/Pharrel/Primal Scream influenced offering, "Scream (Funk My Life Up)".

Nah, nothing to do with all those sweater puppies on show!

The song was the lead single from Nut's third album, Caustic Love.

The video was shot in and around Hollywood. However, the Nez directed film is not about the glamour.

As promonews.tv puts it .......
It's about shining a light on its shabby underbelly. Paolo's fellow performers are real Hollywood characters, who haven't tasted much success in Tinseltown. But it isn't a grim portrayal of the has-beens and the never-weres either - it's a celebration.
