The Video - Advance Base's "Summer Music"

I'm still at the same address, I still believe I could love her best.

The sublime opening track to Mr. Casio /Mr. Advance Base, Owen Ashworth's critically acclaimed debut album as Advance Base, A Shut-In’s Prayer.

A Shut-In’s Prayer  was rated #19 on MOJO Magazine’s Best Albums of 2012 list.

"Summer Music" is a beautiful and poetic ("with a heart like a symphony, cymbal crashing infinity") Sparklehorse-style song of love breakdown and painful heartache ("there's no comfort in sympathy - she's upstate with her family.")

The wonderful and beautifully made innovative vid (involving, of course, everyday stuff like a fucked up love between a bleached blonde babe and, erm ...  a morose, suicidal possibly psychotic muppet!) was directed by Philip Hodges.

Yap, Fritz is a heart-felt puppet who laments the loss over his human girlfriend Chelsea. Joined by furry friends that have come to life in his apartment, he records a solo to win back her heart.

.... Find out what happens next and follow Fritz on his journey from being blue to feeling anew!!
