Turn off the light that shines from above. It's nicer in the shadows when you're falling in love.
A gorgeous song; one of the best I've heard in, erm ... many a moon!
As addictive as Krug Clos d’Ambonnay from Kate Upton's rack (that's a cellar reference - don't be smutty!), it's a beautiful bijou melding of classic Cole Porter-esque songwriting with guitar-driven, power-pop from a band I used to love way back in the day - a great band that, thankfully, reunited a few years back, after a long separation.
This was a single from - and one of the highlights of - last year's fine Echoes and Rhymes LP.
The tongue-in-cheek, performance-based promo's pretty fucking sweet too.
